We may disclose information about you to third party financial service providers, such as those that provide mortgage, securities, plastic card, and insurance services. We may disclose all the information we collect to companies we use to process transactions on your behalf. We may also disclose information about you under other circumstances, as permitted or required by law.

If you decide to terminate your membership with Retail Employees Credit Union or become an inactive member, we will not share information we have collected about you, except as may be permitted or required by law.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION


We restrict access to information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal and state regulations to guard your information.

THIS POLICY DOES NOT IMPLY A CONTRACT BETWEEN RETAIL EMPLOYEES CREDIT UNION AND ANY MEMBER. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FROM TIME TO TIME MAY CHANGE THIS POLICY IN PART OR IN WHOLE. 

PURPOSE:

This policy is established to disclose to our members the information sharing procedures of Retail Employees Credit Union.

REQUIRED DISCLOSURES:

  • Initial notice will be given to all new members along with Truth in Savings, Terms and Conditions, Electronic Transfers, and Funds Availability notices.
  • Annual notice will be mailed in the first quarter of each year.

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our members and former members to anyone, except as permitted by law.
